However, a competitive program affiliated with and familiar with all available tools have in today’s economy become essential. The spirit of cooperation and collaboration is still the prevailing attitude. The 4A sales tax funds, tax abatement incentives in place, the establishment of a new South Business Park with easy access to both U.S. Hwy 385 and State Hwy 176, and access to numerous state and federal incentive programs, Andrews is a community in motion. Andrews is a forward-looking city with an infrastructure, abundance of land, low operational costs and ease of conducting business that makes Andrews the notable standout as the West Texas city for companies seeking success.

These revenues from the 4A sales tax ensures a source of long-term funding for offering financial encouragement to businesses interested in Andrews. The basic purpose of the Andrews Economic Development Corporation is to help facilitate the creation of new, quality jobs, through expansion of existing companies and recruiting new companies to town.
